We now have more ice on the river. There are still reports of fish being caught from Fremont to New London. But, the bite varies from day to day.

 

Some of the places where people are currently ice-fishing are the old river, Big Eddie, Oxbo, Manawa Mill Pond, White Lake and Bear Lake. Please be aware that we are not saying all of the ice on these waters are 100% safe. It is up to the individual to test the ice in the area where they are fishing and take appropriate precautions. Ice conditions continue to change with the weather, so please use caution.
